Harnett County resident R.J. Harris was looking for ways to invest in her community. As a member of the Anderson Creek Lions Club, she had funding and community support. As a former teachers’ assistant, she knew that children need school supplies and as children return to school, a good start is important.

Scholars at ACA gave back to their community today by collecting and donating 558 pounds of nonperishable food items to the local food pantry, Five & Two! Scholars were delighted to help collect, count, and load items onto the donation truck. Scholars also got a visit from the local fire department who shared fire prevention with our scholars.





October 29th, 2021

ACA scholars and staff celebrated STEAM+/Harvest Day by dressing as their favorite book characters and bringing the book to share. The day was filled with exciting and engaging fall-themed STEAM+ activities! Keep up the great work, scholars!











November 12th, 2021

ACA scholars and staff participated in the annual Veterans Day Recognition Program. Scholars showed their appreciation for our veterans through patriotic crafts, singing of songs, and readings of original poetry. Anderson Creek Academy is proud of all our veterans and families!




 January 27th, 2022

ACA scholars and staff participated in an outdoor evening of "Stargazing" on the grounds of Anderson Creek Academy during National School Choice Week. Scholars participated in many crafts, learned about various constellations and planets through the Skyview app, and won prizes in the raffle! Families had a wonderful time socializing and learning new things!
